Due to public demand, a new 45c stamp was issued by New Zealand Post.

Due to demand and interest in the 150 Years of Parliament stamp issue, New Zealand Post decided to produce a special 45c Parliament stamp.
Also available was a replication of the pre-existing 150 Years of Parliament first day cover with the new 45c denomination affixed.
