New Zealand Post commemorated the 2001 A Stamp Odyssey – Invercargill Exhibition with this special stamp issue.
Issue information
To celebrate the New Zealand National Philatelic Exhibition – 2001 A Stamp Odyssey, we created a miniature sheet and exhibition cover. The miniature sheet incorporated stamps from the Scenic Definitives range, in values of 90c, $1.00, $1.10 and $1.30.
The exhibition was held in Invercargill from the 16th to the 18th March 2001. Being staged by the Southland Philatelic Society, the exhibition featured some world-class thematic exhibits displaying space and space travel.
