Set of four mint stamps.
$2.90 Dawn Services - Anzac Day commemorations begin at dawn with services held around the country to mark the time when Anzac troops initially landed at Gallipoli. The services, held by military personnel, local dignitaries, and members of the Returned and Services Association (RSA), include a reading of the Ode of Remembrance, and a lone bugle playing the Last Post, followed by a minute of silence acknowledging those who paid the ultimate sacrifice. International Anzac Day dawn services are also held in Gallipoli and Chunuk Bair in Türkiye.
$4.20 Memorials - In the years between World Wars I and II, hundreds of civic monuments were built throughout New Zealand in honour of local soldiers who were killed in action and those who served. These monuments are still used as the sites of Anzac Day services and other commemorative events.
$4.90 Poppy Day - The red poppy (or Flanders poppy) has become a symbol of wartime remembrance around the world. To fundraise for veterans and servicepeople, the Royal New Zealand Returned and Services Association (RSA) collect donations and give out red poppies each year on Poppy Day, always held on the Friday before Anzac Day. In 2026 the RSA will release a new Poppy design, made entirely of recycled paper materials.
$5.80 Parades - Each Anzac Day includes a parade held later in the morning after the Dawn Service. Local veterans and returned service personnel march to the local war memorial or cenotaph in full uniform and wearing their medals. Representatives of local organisations and members of the public lay memorial wreaths at the cenotaph.
