Design
This dynamic design by Mike Guilfoyle featured a rugby player, ball tucked under arm, in full flight. The design also incorporated the islands of New Zealand and was completed with the crest of the British & Irish Lions. All of this was encompassed within the shape of a rugby ball.
This coin was struck in nickel-brass to a brilliant uncirculated standard and was housed in a colourful presentation pack that had been specifically approved by the British & Irish Lions.
