The 1948 Health stamp issue depicted a boy sitting on a window sill with a background view of children at play at Roxburgh Health Camp.
Issue information
The hills in the distance are the Maunu Hills as seen from the Whangarei Health Camp. Thus the most northern and the most southern Health Camps in the country shared a place in this design.
The proceeds of the 'Health' value of these 1948 Health stamps were donated to the Children's Health Camps movement.
