New Zealand Post commemorated this stamp exhibition with the release of these special souvenir covers.
Issue information
New Zealand Post held a stamp exhibition at the Overseas terminal in Wellington from October 9 – 12.
The exhibition coincided with the launch of the Roses China-New Zealand joint stamp issue. It also featured 100 frames of stamps from the archives of China’s Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, New Zealand Post and invited New Zealand exhibitors.
Two exhibition souvenir covers with a special date stamp were issued by New Zealand Post to commorate the occasion: one featured a miniature sheet, the other two New Zealand and two China stamps, all from the Roses stamp issue.
