Design
The coins have been carefully designed to depict The Queen's and Duke's personal Arms as well as an image of the wedding bells that were on the souvenir programme of the wedding in 1947. The clematis flowers along the bottom of the coin are often included in New Zealand wedding bouquets and were also on New Zealand's wedding gift.
