Design
These two ½ oz gold coins capture the moment before Māui catches the mighty fish that would become the North Island of New Zealand. Minted from 0.9999 gold and set in an acrylic block, the two coins are linked by the action of the fishing rope and hook which is etched into the acrylic surface.
