Featuring a portrait in colour, this coin commemorates the seven decades of service that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has given to the Commonwealth. Two silver ferns surround the $1 denomination, and vibrant gold-coloured ribbons feature the text Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee. The rim is plated in gold to add an additional touch of refinement to this exceptional silver coin. The obverse of the coin features Ian Rank-Broadly's portrait of the Queen.
