Single $6.20 Parininihi Marine Reserve stamp
Parininihi Marine Reserve joined the marine reserve network in 2006. It is home to the unique sponge gardens of Pariokariwa reef and some of the highest species diversity recorded in New Zealand. People can visit the area by private boat, but due to turbulent conditions on the north Taranaki coastline it's always advisable to check weather and sea conditions.
This stamp issue highlights some of Aotearoa New Zealand's beautiful marine reserves. Click here for more information.
