New Zealand Post issued this special miniature sheet to commemorate Aupex ’97.
Issue information
Aupex’ 97 was a New Zealand National Stamp Exhibition held at the Sky City Convention Centre in Auckland from 13-16th November 1997.
It was held to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Auckland Philatelic Society and to promote the hobby of stamp collecting within New Zealand.
The exhibition, which was sponsored by New Zealand Post, featured over 12,000 pages of stamps, many from award-winning stamp collections from throughout New Zealand, Australia and Asia. Twenty-seven stamp dealers were present and there were a number of meetings and special events.
