Single $4.20 ''Tis the Season' gummed stamp
...to be jolly! Natural songbirds, tūi are one of the most abundant, and most vocal, native birds across the country. They have a ‘double voice-box', allowing them to sing complex melodies. They’re also skilled mimics, copying the notes of jingles, phone ring tones and alarms. Tūi are very important pollinators of many native trees. To encourage them in your garden, you can plant harakeke (flax), kōwhai, ngutukākā, pōhutukawa and pūriri trees.
