Between 30 March and 1 April 2007, Whangarei hosted Northland 2007 – a national stamp exhibition that coincided with the 50th anniversary of the Whangarei Philatelic Society.
Issue information
To honour the occasion, New Zealand Post issued an exhibition miniature sheet and miniature sheet first day cover which featured an image of Whangarei Harbour and the official Northland 2007 logo. The first day cover depicted the marina at Whangarei harbour.
