Palmpex ’99 was New Zealand’s last national philatelic exhibition in the 20th century, and was held in Palmerston North from 1 to 3 October 1999.
Issue information
Organisers promoted an exhibition with appeal for all ages, with Australian and Asian exhibits among the many highlights that visitors expected to encounter across the Convention Centre's two floors.
To celebrate this event, New Zealand Post released a special miniature sheet featuring the $1.80 Mount Taranaki/Egmont stamp from our Scenic Walks issue from July.
