We’ve made our catalogue of stamp art prints into smaller sizes, perfect for gifts or to add a little pop of history on your walls. These prints come mounted and ready to frame in a handy 8”x10” size.
Te Ika-a-Māui is the thrilling tale of how the mischievous and curious Māui fished up the North Island of Aotearoa New Zealand.
This print represents the preparation for the fishing voyage, a time when lashings were tightened, fishing nets and lines were checked, hooks were sharpened and the hull was checked for seaworthiness. The sea was like glass, the weather was calm and the winds looked favourable for a quick journey to the brothers’ favourite fishing grounds.
