From 16 July 2005 to 15 January 2006, Te Papa was delighted to display a wonderful exhibition entitled Stamped:Celebrating New Zealand's Postal History.

This exciting collection of rare and beautiful items explored how stamps had documented our social history and mapped our national identity for 150 years. New Zealand Post issued a pre-stamped commemorative envelope to mark the occasion.
