As a commonwealth nation, the people of Tokelau look to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as their Head of State. Therefore they are joining the rest of the commonwealth in celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Queen’s Coronation with a commemorative stamp issue.
Issue information
Both stamps in the issue feature photographs from the day of the Queen’s coronation in 1953 as well as a gold flower motif from the Royal carriage used to transport the Queen from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace.
