This set of two coins celebrates the 100th anniversary of the first New Zealand Team’s Olympic Games ahead of the forthcoming Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, scheduled for July/August 2021.

Design
The first coin in this set depicts the three sports New Zealand competed in in 1920 - rowing, swimming and running. An Art Deco font and antique finish set the coin in 1920. The second coin shows weightlifting, cycling and karate, to represent the present-day games in Tokyo. The coin will have a modern, proof finish to set it in 2020. A fern at the centre unites the coins, along with the NZ Team logo.
