The 1938 Health stamp issue featured two small children playing on a lawn which emphasised the importance of fresh air in the life of the young.
Issue information
The design was based on an idea by S Hall and G Bull of the Post and Telegraph Department. The illustration was developed from two photographs of the same child.
The proceeds of the 'Health' value of these 1938 Health stamps was donated to the Children's Health Camps movement.
