Issue information

The concept of a stamped adhesive label was the original idea of the Exhibition organising committee and was approved by the New Zealand Post Office.  The labels were used singly on pre exhibition mailings to supporting members.  Sheets were also sold for fundraising purposes.  Sheets comprised four three cent labels bearing the Queen Elizabeth II embossed stationery die in green and black, separated by a roulette perforation.
