"Thinking of You" follow the successful launch of the Personal Message stamps first issued by New Zealand Post.
Issue information
Rather than producing a specific personal message stamp for every special occasion, New Zealand Post briefed a team of student designers to create stamp designs which would be appropriate for almost any occasion. The sentiment which seemed most fitting was 'Thinking of You'. The series of designs developed was both light-hearted and appealing.
Whether it is a card or letter to say brings pleasure in any situation 'Happy Anniversary', 'Get Well Soon' , 'I Miss You' , or just 'Hello"
The five stamps were issued in booklet form. The designs were reissued on 1 July 1991 with 45c denominations as the result of a change in postage rates.
